Kochani nightclub fire: Indictment filed against 34 people, three legal entities
- The State Chief Public Prosecutor, Ljupco Kocevski, said Friday that an indictment against 34 people and three legal entities involving crimes in connection to the March 16 deadly nightclub fire in Kochani was filed to a court in Kochani.

Skopje, 13 June 2025 (MIA) – The State Chief Public Prosecutor, Ljupco Kocevski, said Friday that an indictment against 34 people and three legal entities involving crimes in connection to the March 16 deadly nightclub fire in Kochani was filed to a court in Kochani.
“An indictment against 34 physical and three legal entities is filed today to the Kochani Basic Court involving crimes that had seriously put at danger the lives and bodies of people and property in a place where a large number of people had been gathered. In fact, it involves the fire that broke out during DNK’s performance on March 16, which killed 62 people, 157 people sustained life threatening injuries and left 54 people with injuries,” stated Kocevski.
Speaking at Friday’s press conference regarding the investigation into the Kochani fire, he said that an investigation was also ordered into 13 law enforcement officials, including police officers.
Precautionary measures are being sought for the policemen as they are suspected of allowing pyrotechnics to be used during the fatal concert.
Also, they acted against the rules for protection, said the prosecutor.
