Kavadarci hosts display of military equipment part of 'Immediate Response 23' exercise

Skopje, 28 May 2023 (MIA) – An open day, which is taking place at city square in Kavadarci on Sunday between 11 am and 2 pm, is to showcase equipment of the armies participating in the military exercise 'Immediate Response 23.'
Defence Minister Slavjanka Petrovska and the US Ambassador Angela Aggeler are set to attend the event.
Citizens will have an opportunity to see displays of military vehicles being used by our Army and the armed forces of the United States, Albania, Montenegro and Kosovo.
Mountaineering gear, equipment for diving and parachuting, as well as NBC protection gear of the Army will also be displayed at the event.
The project Origin will also be displayed, which is a platform for testing and demonstrating new technologies, i.e. an autonomous, land-based robotic vehicle of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command.
'Immediate Response 23' starts May 22 in the Republic of North Macedonia. The exercise brings together 1,850 participants from the armies of four NATO member countries and one NATO partner country including North Macedonia, the United States, Albania, Montenegro and Kosovo as NATO partner.
