Skopje, 15 October 2024 (MIA) - Justice Minister Igor Filkov met Tuesday with the Head of OSCE Mission to Skopje, Ambassador Kilian Wahl.

Talks focused on planned reforms and projects in the judiciary regarding the rule of law.

"Meeting participants discussed the bill on criminal proceedings and Ambassador Wahl announced that OSCE will financially support the translation. The OSCE Mission to Skopje, in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice, will be actively involved in the preparation of the 2024-2028 Judicial Sector Development Strategy and working groups for certain legislative amendments," the Ministry of Justice said in a press release.

Cooperation and dialogue, according to the press release, will intensify in the coming period for the realization of planned judiciary reforms. ssh/mr
