Skopje, 28 October 2024 (MIA) – Justice Minister Igor Filkov met with European Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders on the sidelines of the EU-Western Balkans Ministerial Forum on Justice and Home Affairs being held in Budva.

“The European Union's continuous support for the accession process and reforms was acknowledged with appreciation. During the meeting, discussions focused on the rule of law, the legislative agenda, and the planned judicial reforms outlined in the Development Sector Strategy for Judiciary (2024-2028),” the Ministry of Justice said in a press release.

Digitalization was emphasized as especially significant, as stated by the Ministry of Justice, which “should facilitate progress and a faster, more transparent, and more efficient way of operating that will significantly contribute to the development of society.”
