Judicial Council looking into case files from previous trials of defendant Vasil Jovanov, says Kambovski
- Following public outcry over previous trials of defendant Vasil Jovanov, who drove drunk and killed 22-year-old Frosina Kulakova in downtown Skopje, Judicial Council president Aleksandar Kambovski said Wednesday that a commission of the Judicial Council is looking into the files and will act on all public concerns.

Skopje, 5 February 2025 (MIA) – Following public outcry over previous trials of defendant Vasil Jovanov, who drove drunk and killed 22-year-old Frosina Kulakova in downtown Skopje, Judicial Council president Aleksandar Kambovski said Wednesday that a commission of the Judicial Council is looking into the files and will act on all public concerns.
Kambovski said the Judicial Council will formally set up the commission on Thursday, which is to review all the files and then say whether there has been any omission in the previous trials of the defendant Vasil Jovanov.
"We have started looking into the cases, and a commission will be formally set up by the Judicial Council tomorrow. After reviewing all the files, we will come out with a position on whether there has been any omission or not," said Kambovski.
