Skopje, 3 December 2021 (MIA) – Jovan Despotovski submitted his candidacy on Friday to run for leader of the Social Democrats in party elections. The deadline to file papers declaring candidacies ends today at 4 pm. On Saturday, the central election commission will analyze the candidacies submitted, and verify those that are in line with required criteria. Despotovski has also submitted his program “Concept 28” which, according to him, is focused on the people. The main objective is to provide a higher quality of life for all our fellow citizens, and the “Concept 28” program offers a different approach in creating and implementing policies and measures, SDSM said in a press release. “We offer a concept in politics that doesn’t start from "Who", but "How" and "What kind of person / people" we need. A concept that will strengthen SDSM as a leading political organization in North Macedonia through concrete and measurable results even after the next parliamentary elections. A concept that will ensure continuity and quality in the implementation of modern values ​​and progressive policies until 2028,” reads Despotovski’s program.
