Skopje, 21 March 2025 (MIA) - The average monthly net wage paid per employee in January 2025 was Mden 43,050, a 8.9 percent increase compared to the same month in the previous year, said the State Statistical Office on Friday. 

This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Arts, entertainment and recreation, Administrative and support service activities, and Education.  

A decrease in the average monthly net wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Construction, Manufacturing, and Financial and insurance activities.  

The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in January 2025 was Mden 64,697.
