Skopje, 14 October 2024 (MIA) -- Prosecutor Irina Trajkoska Strezoski from the Bitola Higher Public Prosecutor's Office is the new head of Pavel Shatev Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors.

Trajkoska Strezoski will serve the four-year term after she received the majority of votes at a session of the academy's management board, with six members voting for her appointment.

Judge Nenad Saveski from the Skopje Criminal Court Skopje received five votes. Pavel Shatev Academy deputy director Ilir Iseni received three votes.

Nominees also included judges Olja Ristova from the Criminal Court and Andrej Dimovski from the Civil Court, who did not receive any votes.

Judge Edita Naskovska from the Administrative Court received two votes and prosecutor Spasenka Andonova from the Skopje Primary Public Prosecutor's Office received one vote. mr/
