Skopje, 13 August 2021 (MIA) – Industry turnover in June, compared to the same month in 2020, increased by 17.9 percent, said the State Statistical Office on Friday. Total turnover by Main Industrial Groupings was higher in Intermediate goods, except energy by 31.1%, Capital goods by 15.7%, Durable consumer goods by 35.8% and Non-durable consumer goods by 5.4%. Industry turnover in June, compared to the previous month, was higher by 2.8 percent, while in period January-June it increased by 26.2 percent. Industry turnover on the domestic market in June, compared to the same month in 2020, rose by 8.5 percent. Industry turnover on the domestic market by Main Industrial Groupings was higher in Intermediate goods, except energy by 2.4%, Capital goods by 38.2%, Durable consumer goods by 33.7% and Non-durable consumer goods by 9.6%. Industry turnover on the domestic market in June, compared to the previous month, was up by 14.5 percent, while in period January-June it increased by 4.7 percent. Industry turnover on the non-domestic market in June, compared to the same month in 2020, increased by 19.7 percent. Industry turnover on the non-domestic market by Main Industrial Groupings was higher in Intermediate goods, except energy by 42.8%, Capital goods by 15.5%, Durable consumer goods by 28.0% and Non-durable consumer goods by 0.4%. Industry turnover on the non-domestic market in June, compared to the previous month, dropped by 0.1 percent, while in period January-June it increased by 32.1 percent.
