Industrial turnover up: statistics
Skopje, 12 November 2021 (MIA) – Total industrial turnover in September 2021 increased by 13.5% compared to August 2021, as well as 2.8% compared to September 2020. Industrial turnover in the period January-September 2021 was 18.6% higher compared to the period January-September 2020, State Statistical Office data shows.
The total turnover by Main Industrial Groupings in September 2021, in comparison with September 2020, was higher in Intermediate goods, except energy by 25.6%, Durable consumer goods by 24.2% and Non-durable consumer goods by 13.1%, but lower in Capital goods by 19.1%.
Industrial turnover in the domestic market in September 2021, in comparison with September 2020, has increased by 9.7%. Compared to the previous month it grew by 5.6%, while in the period January-September 2021 it increased by 6.3% compared to the same time last year.
The turnover in industry on the domestic market by Main Industrial Groupings in September 2021, in comparison with September 2020, was higher in Intermediate goods, except energy by 10.9%, Capital goods by 63.9%, Durable consumer goods by 2.4% and Non-durable consumer goods by 5.4%.
Industrial turnover on the non-domestic market in September 2021, in comparison with September 2020, rose by 0.2%. Compared to August 2021, it saw an increase of 16%, while in the period January-September 2021 it increased by 21.4% compared to the same time last year.
The turnover in industry on the non-domestic market by Main Industrial Groupings in September 2021, in comparison with September 2020, was higher in Intermediate goods, except energy by 31.5%, Durable consumer goods by 31.3% and Non-durable consumer goods by 19.9%, but lower in Capital goods by 20.0%.
