Hungarian, Macedonian governments to hold joint session in Hungary

Skopje, 2 March 2025 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski and the ministers will participate in a Hungarian-Macedonian government summit in the Republic of Hungary on March 3-4, 2025, the Government said in a press release.

According to the Government, the agenda includes tête-à-tête meeting between PM Mickoski and Hungarian PM Viktor Orbán. 

Bilateral meetings between ministers of the two governments are also planned as part of the summit, followed by a joint session between the two governments.

As part of the visit, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Timcho Mucunski, and Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Péter Szijjártó, are to sign an Action Plan on exchange of expertise by the Hungarian Diplomatic Academy on mutually agreed EU integration topics, administration processes of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Budapest, reads the press release. 

After the intergovernmental session, the Prime Minister of the Macedonian Government, Hristijan Mickoski, and the Prime Minister of the Hungarian Government, Viktor Orbán, will hold a joint press conference, the press release adds.
