Skopje, 13 June 2025 (MIA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Timcho Mucunski will host Friday the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Peter Szijjarto, as part of his working visit to North Macedonia. 

Talks will focus on ways to improve bilateral cooperation between the two countries, which have recently recorded intensive and fruitful cooperation, and the three-decade friendship and continuing rise in trade, the Foreign Minister said. 

An agreement on strategic cooperation between the governments of North Macedonia and Hungary is expected to be signed in Skopje.

The Ministry of Education and Science of North Macedonia and Hungary’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade are set to sign a memorandum of understanding as part of Stipendium Hungaricum Program for 2026-2028. The memo will be signed by Minister Szijjarto and Education Minister Vesna Janevska, said the press release.
