Skopje, 16 January 2026 (MIA) – Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Muhamet Hoxha met Friday with the Ambassador of Greece to the Republic of North Macedonia, Sophia Philippidou, to discuss the priorities of bilateral cooperation in the area of environment.

According to the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning, the talks focused on activities related to the management of Prespa National Park, water resources management, the hydrological situation of Lake Prespa and Lake Dojran, and the ongoing cross-border projects.

Both sides reaffirmed their joint commitment to further enhancing cooperation between North Macedonia and Greece, with a special focus on environmental protection and the sustainable development of cross-border regions.
