Skopje, 20 February 2024 (MIA) - The Ministry of Health says Aleksandar Petlichkovski has not been dismissed from the post of President of the Commission for Infectious Diseases. 

"Doctor Petlichkovski is the incumbent President of the Commission who remains in the post to perform his duties as he has done so far. This can be verified with relevant documentation," said the Health Ministry.

Some media reported earlier on Tuesday that the new Health Minister Ilir Demiri has removed Petlichkovski from the post of Infectious Diseases Commission President.
