Health authorities to implement protection protocols at event on OFA’s anniversary
Skopje, 12 August 2021 (MIA) – The Public Health Center will implement health protection protocols at the central event, set on Friday, marking the 20th anniversary of the Ohrid Framework Agreement (OFA), First Deputy Prime Minister Artan Grubi stated Thursday.
Grubi, who is also the Minister of Political System and Intercommunity Relations, said he had contacted Health Minister Venko Filipche about the health protocols.
“A request to the Health Ministry was sent at least three weeks ago. I also contacted the Health Minister as well as doctor Shaban Memeti, Director of the Public Health Center, who will engage staff to implement protocols at tomorrow’s event,” he told reporters before a screening of a documentary on the Ohrid Framework Agreement.
Released in 2002, Grubi said, the documentary titled “Ohrid and Beyond” features all those involved in negotiating the Ohrid Agreement, including ex-NATO head George Robertson, ex-EU top official Javier Solana, former president Branko Crvenkovski, DUI leader Ali Ahmeti, and former prime minister Ljubcho Georgievski.
