Skopje, 24 April 2024 (MIA) - DUI supporters are celebrating Wednesday evening after the release of the preliminary results from the first round of the presidential elections, which show that their candidate Bujar Osmani has come third in the race and ahead of the other ethnic Albanian candidate Arben Taravari.

Deputy PM Artan Grubi told supporters in Skopje this is a spectacular win for the DUI-led European Front coalition.

"We are celebrating a win for the European Front. We will get more than 20 MP seats on May 8. We are celebrating the liberation of Chair, Tetovo, Gostivar, Zhelino and all other occupied municipalities with the help of VMRO-DPMNE, Levica, Dodik, Putin and Vucic. Today is the day of liberation, as will May 8, ahead of Europe Day," said Grubi.
