Skopje, 7 February 2023 (MIA) – Deputy PM for good governance policies Slavica Grkovska met Tuesday with Stéphane Dion, Canadian Prime Minister's Special Envoy to the EU and Europe and Canada’s Ambassador to France and Monaco, expressing her gratitude for the international cooperation and support that Ottawa has provided regarding North Macedonia’s NATO accession as well as its Euro-integration process.
Deputy PM Grkovska said North Macedonia’s task is to implement reforms and this homework must be completed irrespective of the support provided by the international community, her Office said in a press release.
Grkovska told Dion that enhancement of transparency, accountability, responsibility and efficiency of institutions, drafting anti-corruption policies and coordination of the process of digital transformation are key priorities of the Office for good governance policies.
Interlocutors agreed that North Macedonia’s unhindered Euro-integration process is important for the country and the region, with a focus on reforms, reads the press release.
