Grkovska-Dible: North Macedonia and USAID maintain long-term and fruitful cooperation
Skopje, 3 October 2022 (MIA) - Deputy PM for good governance policies Slavica Grkovska met Monday with the USAID Country Representative for the Republic of North Macedonia Jeri Dible discussing ways to deepen the mutual cooperation.
Deputy PM Grkovska thanked for the USAID support to our country in all spheres, especially in the area of digital transformation of society, as well as the creation of anti-corruption policies, problems on which the Grkovska’s office is primarily focused.
They discussed the implementation dynamics of the joint projects, while the USAID representative Dible underlined that they are open to the improvement of the implementation mechanisms, in order to ensure a faster implementation of the projects, the main goal of which is to strengthen the capacities of the institutions of interest of the citizens, Grkovska’s office said in a press release.
Dible hailed the regular coordination meetings between competent institutions for cyber security and donors in this area, organized monthly by Deputy Prime Minister Grkovska, which contributes to more effective and coordinated action.
They agreed monthly coordination meetings is necessary to be organized in the area of digitization, which will enable a mutually coordinated approach to the process of digital transformation of society, reads the press release.
