Athens, 3 July 2023 (MIA) - The government of Kyriakos Mitsotakis will continue to defend the national interests without making concessions at all levels, said Greek government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis at the first briefing with journalists and foreign correspondents after the election of the new cabinet.
Asked by MIA on the government's position regarding the Western Balkans, in light of the 20th anniversary of the Thessaloniki Summit, and on North Macedonia regarding the fact that far-right parties that oppose the Prespa Agreement have won seats in the Greek parliament, Marinakis did not give a specific answer and said the government is committed to the defense of national interests.
"The government of Kyriakos Mitsotakis, both in the previous term and in this one, has managed to defend the interests of all Greek citizens and protect the country in the best possible way, making it stronger, and will continue to do this and defend the national interests, without making concessions, at all levels," said Marinakis.
