Gov’t delegation lays flowers at Goce Delchev monument on October 23 – Day of Macedonian Revolutionary Struggle
Skopje, 23 October 2022 (MIA) – The Day of Macedonian Revolutionary Struggle – October 23 has been observed Sunday by laying wreaths at the monument of Goce Delchev in Skopje City Park.
Government delegation led by Deputy Finance Minister Filip Nikoloski, National Coordinator for interculturalism, one society, cultural development and inter-sector cooperation, Robert Alagjozovski, and Deputy Transport Minister, Bekim Rexhepi, as well as parliament delegation including MPs Marija Georgievska and Beti Stamenkoska Trajkoska laid wreaths at the monument of Goce Delchev.
“Today, the Republic of North Macedonia celebrates Day of Macedonian Revolutionary Struggle, in memory of October 23, 1893, the day when the Macedonian Revolutionary Organization was founded, which led the struggle for the realization of the centuries-old ideal of the Macedonian people, to create their own state - a state of freedom, justice, equality, independence,” the government said in a press release.
