Skopje, 24 January 2023 (MIA) – The Government at its session on Tuesday tasked the Ministry of Economy to implement a Plan for its reorganization, which, among other things, provides for merging the State Market Inspectorate with the State Technical Inspectorate and setting up a single inspection supervision institution under the Ministry of Economy, i.e. a State Market and Technical Inspectorate.

In addition, merging is also planned for the Fund for Innovation and Technology Development and the Agency for promotion of Entrepreneurship, the Investment and export promotion agency and the Free Zones Authority, as well as the Energy Agency and the Compulsory Oil Reserves Agency.  

The Ministry is tasked with implementing the plan according to established deadlines.
