Skopje, 28 June 2022 (MIA) – The Government at Tuesday’s session adopted a paper on concluding a contract for the construction of Corridor 8 (section Tetovo-Gostivar-Bukojchani and project on Trebenishta-Struga-Kafasan highway) and Corridor 10 D (section of Prilep-Bitola highway), and on setting up an expropriation team led by the Ministry of Finance which includes representatives for efficient implementation of the process. In line with the paper, the Government instructed the Public Enterprise for State Roads to set up a project implementation unit within 10 days, as provided for under the construction agreement with the strategic partner Bechtel-Enka for the construction of infrastructure Corridor 8 (section Tetovo-Gostivar-Bukojchani and project on Trebenishta-Struga-Kafasan highway) and Corridor 10 D (section of Prilep-Bitola highway), the Government said in a press release. The launch of works along these highways is scheduled for August and September, 2022, adds the press release.
