Skopje, 14 November 2023 (MIA) – At a session Tuesday, the Government of North Macedonia reviewed and adopted the Report over the resumption of the procedure for the implementation of bus rapid transit (BRT) in Skopje with a draft implementation agreement, and provided its support for the resumption of the project, said the Government in a press release.

According to the Report from the Ministry of Transport and Communications, in September, the City of Skopje said it plans to resume the project for which the City of Skopje and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development signed an agreement on April 21, 2021.

The draft implementation agreement for the project is expected to be signed by the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Transport and Communications, and the City of Skopje.
