Gov’t appoints new directors, adopts decision on higher pensions

Skopje, 28 June 2024 (MIA) - At its first session on Friday, the Government named the new directors of several institutions and decided to raise pensions through two linear increases of Mden 2.500 (EUR 40) each in September and March.
At the session, the Government named Igor Janushev as its Secretary General and Vladimir Neloski as the Prime Minister’s Chief of Cabinet with Sashe Pavlovski acting as his deputy.
Elena Petrova has been named the new Director of the Public Revenue Office, while Boban Nikolovski is set to take the top post at the Customs Administration.
The Government also appointed Aleksandar Janev as the new Director of the Bureau for Public Security, Ivica Tomovski as the new Director of the Office for General and Common Works.
At Friday’s session, the Government also discussed increasing pensions by Mden 5.000 and decided to increase pensions through two linear increases of Mden 2.500 (EUR 40) each, set to take place in September 2024 and March 2025.
