Skopje, 14 December 2021 (MIA) – The Government endorsed Tuesday the draft-law on North Macedonia guarantees over liabilities arising from the Financial Agreement of project “Interconnector for natural gas transmission Greece-North Macedonia”, concluded between the European Investment Bank (EIB) and state-owned company National Energy Resources (NER)-Skopje. The draft-law guarantees the fulfillment of liabilities in the amount of EUR 28,9 million, in line with the terms and conditions in the Financial Agreement, the Government said in a press release. The loan can be withdrawn in as many as 10 tranches, with the minimum amount of one tranche amounting to EUR 3 million and a repayment period of 4-25 years, including a grace period between 30 days and five years.
