Skopje, 11 July 2023 (MIA) — The government at a session Tuesday approved 82 contracts in line with the Law on Financial Support of Investments, with other applications remaining to be evaluated after a record number of 432 companies submitted proposals for new investment projects in 2023, according to an official press release. 

The 82 companies that had their contracts approved, the release says, in 2022 opened 233 new jobs, and by the end of their investment cycles, they are expected to open 818 new jobs. 

"Also, these companies invested EUR 30.8 million last year, and at the end of their investment cycles they will have invested EUR 67.5 million," the release adds. mr/
