Minister of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources, Sanja Bozhinovska told a press conference on Monday that the plan includes the construction of 67 new energy facilities for electricity production with a capacity of at least 1 megawatt each, totaling 4,416.8 megawatts, with an estimated investment of €3.735 billion. Of 284 applications, 97 companies were approved according to a first-come, first-served principle. The plan also incorporates 56 municipal projects from Makedonski Brod, Lozovo, Debarca, Kavadarci, Kumanovo, Brvenica and Kochani, along with grid stability analyses.
