Skopje, 13 November 2022 (MIA) - A government delegation, consisting of Justice Minister Nikola Tupancheski, Minister of Local Self-Government Risto Penov and Deputy Transport Minister Bekim Rexhepi on Sunday paid their respects to the fallen fighters who liberated Skopje 78 years ago. The government officials also laid wreaths at the Butel Partisan Cemeteries, the Alley of Distinguished Citizens in Butel and the monument dedicated to the Skopje liberators in front of the government. "November 13 is the day when we remember the heroism of the fighters who had fought to liberate Skopje. Their acts should serve as an example for present and future generations. Let us continue walking on the path of solidarity and progress and make a modern metropolis out of Skopje," the government said in a press release.
