Ohrid, 18 July 2023 (MIA) - Minister of State for Europe and Climate in Germany's Federal Foreign Office Anna Lührmann paid Tuesday a working visit to the University of Information Science and Technology (UIST) “St. Paul the Apostle” in Ohrid, for a meeting with the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Ustijana Rechkoska-Shikoska.

Minister Lührmann alongside the president of the "PrimePoint Partners" management consulting company, Zoran Martinovski, and German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) country director, David Oberhuber, as well as representatives of several stakeholders visited the premises of the "Ohrid Blue Economy Accelerator" that operates within the University, UIST said in a press release.

Talks focused on topics including international cooperation, potential investments and joint project activities.  

The University noted that in addition to the educational and scholarly research work, it is actively continuing to develop its project activities and international cooperation, including key institutions from Ohrid, the country and the region, as well as globally. ssh/nn/
