Skopje, 6 July 2022 (MIA) – Germany’s Special Envoy for the Western Balkans Manuel Sarrazin will pay an official visit Wednesday to Skopje where he will meet with Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Bojan Marichikj. Sarrazin and Marichikj will hold a joint news conference after having talks focused on the French proposal and North Macedonia’s EU integration process as well as developments in the region, the Secretariat for European Affairs said Tuesday. “Following Tuesday’s visit of European Council President Charles Michel, the German Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Manuel Sarrazin will be the fourth official who in the past three days has come in these crucial and historic moment to give support to the French proposal for the opening of negotiations with the European Union and to once again reaffirm the Macedonian positions,” said the press release.
