Brussels, 16 November 2022 (MIA) – The State Secretary at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, Laurence Boone, is to pay a visit to Skopje on Wednesday.

Laurence Boone visited Albania on Tuesday.

The State Secretary will meet with the President of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski and PM Kovachevski. Kovachevski and Boone will hold a joint press conference, following the meeting.

Boone is also set to meet with the parliamentarians from the National European Integration Council.

According to MIA’s Brussels correspondent, Boone confirmed her visit to North Macedonia and Albania before the start of the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels on Monday, where the Western Balkans was one of the items on the agenda, whereat she underlined that her message for the two countries is to insist on the importance of undertaking and implementing rule of law reforms.
