Skopje, 27 March 2025 (MIA) - The four patients who returned from Spain yesterday have been sent home in good health, while the patient coming from Athens is still being assessed, said health officials on Thursday.

The burns of the Athens patient have fully healed but it was decided that he is monitored further after the toxicology and laboratory analyses came through.

"Twenty-four patients are treated in Skopje, nine of whom will be released today for home treatment. There are currently 108 patients treated abroad, with eight set to arrive in the country by the end of the day - two from Belgium, two from Austria, two from Turkey and two from Croatia," said Health Minister Arben Taravari.

He added that four patients are still in critical condition, "better than yesterday but still in a relatively severe health state."
