Skopje, 25 June 2025 (MIA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said four Macedonian nationals, including a mother and three children, were evacuated from Israel on Tuesday on a flight from Tel Aviv to Athens.
Until Wednesday, a total of 12 Macedonian nationals have been evacuated from Israel – eight via Egypt on a government-owned plane and four via Athens. The majority of the people who were evacuated are children – seven out of the total 12 people.
According to information from the Embassy of North Macedonia in Tel Aviv, and given the ceasefire in effect since June 24 and the stabilization of the security situation, citizens who were initially prepared for emergency evacuation are currently postponing their departure. Restrictions related to the conflict with Iran have been lifted, and schools, institutions and shops are operating again.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade through the Embassy in Tel Aviv remains in constant communication and at full disposal to all Macedonian nationals who are in Israel.
The advisory against travelling to Middle East countries remains in place, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.
