Skopje, 25 November 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski met Monday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt on the sidelines of the annual Mediterranean Dialogues conference held in Rome.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, the meeting reaffirmed the excellent bilateral relations and underscored the joint readiness for their further enhancement.

The two Ministers spoke about promoting high-level political dialogue and deepening economic and intersectoral cooperation. In that context, they announced the holding of a business forum with companies from both countries in 2025, the Ministry said.

Minister Mucunski voiced gratitude over Egypt’s support for the country’s candidacy for membership in the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), noting the excellent cooperation between the two countries within multilateral organizations.
