FM Osmani receives copies of credentials of new Greek Ambassador
Skopje, 15 November 2022 (MIA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs Bujar Osmani received Tuesday the copies of the letters of credence of the newly appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to North Macedonia, Sophia Philippidou. “Wishing her welcome and success in her post, Osmani conveyed the conviction that the positive dynamics in the relations between the two friendly countries will continue during her term as well,” said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a press release. At the meeting Osmani and Philippidou affirmed the close relations and the fruitful trade exchange between the two countries, the readiness for active and open cooperation in further improving the overall bilateral cooperation, as well as the importance of the full implementation of the strategic partnership agreement between the two countries – the Prespa Agreement, which opened a new chapter in the relations between North Macedonia and Greece. According to the MFA, at the meeting Osmani expressed his gratitude for the firm support that Greece has offered North Macedonia on its EU integration path. ad/sk/
