Skopje, 4 November 2021 (MIA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs Bujar Osmani met on Thursday with the President of the National Democratic Institute (NDI) Derek Mitchell. During the meeting, the Foreign Ministry said in a press release, Osmani commended cooperation with the NDI and its activities in North Macedonia, stressing its importance for strengthening democratic processes in the country. Moreover, interlocutors discussed developments in Afghanistan and Mitchell thanked North Macedonia for providing temporary stay to Afghan refugees who previously worked at NDI’s Kabul office and other international organizations in the country, read the press release.
