Skopje, 4 July 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Timcho Mucunski met Thursday with Serbian Ambassador Nevena Jovanović and reaffirmed the excellent bilateral ties while focusing on the economic and trade cooperation.

Mucunski and Jovanović welcomed the fact that Serbia is the fifth-largest trading partner in 2023, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.

Interlocutors also highlighted the EU integration process of both countries, seen as a guarantee for regional and European stability, as well as the fostering of goodneighborly relations as an integral part of this process.

Discussions also tackled the cooperation in protecting national minorities in both countries, reads the press release.
