Skopje, 23 July 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski met Tuesday with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway, Kristin Melsom.

FM Mucunski thanked Ambassador Melsom for Norway's expert and development support in many key areas and the partnership in developing the country's capacities in the realization of the key foreign policy priorities, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.

The FM said the Government is committed to enhancing bilateral and multilateral relations and intensifying trade exchange, economic and business ties. In addition, interlocutors saluted the readiness for enhancement of cooperation as NATO allies and the joint contribution in maintaining global peace and transatlantic stability.

FM Mucunski also met with European Investment Bank (EIB) country representative, Bjorn Gabriel.

Discussions focused on the commitment for further development of the energy sector and other areas of cooperation, as well as the significant results that contribute to the enhancement of the long-standing bilateral partnership.

Mucunski thanked Gabriel for the support in the construction of capital projects aimed at improving the country's infrastructure, while contributing to a better quality of life.

The FM added that the Government is focused on the successful implementation of reform processes, overcoming challenges and realization of significant projects of importance for the domestic economy and regional networking, reads the press release.
