Skopje, 5 June 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski met Thursday with France’s Minister Delegate for Europe, Benjamin Haddad.

“We discussed our country’s progress on the path to the European Union, the current political situation in the region and our important role as a responsible factor actively contributing to the region’s stability and security,” Mucunski wrote in a post on his official Facebook page.

Mucunski said together with the French Minister they affirmed France’s significant support for the country’s European perspective.

“I highlighted the country’s firm commitment to reforms and full-fledged EU membership, as well as our principled position on European integrations based on predictability, credibility and clear rules in the process,” Mucunski wrote.
