FM Mucunski holds separate meetings with Dutch and Spanish Ambassadors

Skopje, 13 August 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski held a farewell meeting on Tuesday with outgoing Dutch Ambassador Dirk Jan Kop and received copies of the credentials of the newly-appointed Spanish Ambassador, Rafael Soriano Ortiz, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.
At the farewell meeting with Ambassador Jan Kop, Minister Mucunski expressed gratitude for the constructiveness aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries during the Ambassador's mandate.
Mucunski stressed that the Netherlands and our country have a close relationship, with an intense political dialogue and extensive sector cooperation. He also thanked for the support in building the country's democratic capacities and commitments to the promotion of a free society and free market economy, said the press release.
At the separate meeting with the newly appointed Spanish Ambassador, Minister Mucinski wished him a successful diplomatic mission and expressed gratitude for the dynamic and continuous political dialogue so far. Interlocutors discussed joint commitments for intensifying cooperation and further advancement of relations between the two countries.
Minister Mucinski expressed gratitude for the principled and continuous Spanish support for the country's EU integration process, stressing that the Government's commitment to continue on the European path by implementing important reforms and acting responsibly in international affairs, stated the press release. ssh/ba/
