FM Mucunski and UK Foreign Secretary Lammy sign Strategic Partnership Declaration

Skopje, 17 July 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski and the United Kingdom's Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, David Lammy, signed Thursday a Strategic Partnership Declaration in London.
In a social media post, Foreign Minister Mucunski said this opens a new chapter in the relations between the two countries.

“A meeting of historic significance that opens a new chapter in our bilateral relations, marked by the signing of the Strategic Partnership Declaration. This document will strengthen and enhance strategic ties between our two countries, including cooperation in foreign policy, security, and defence, particularly within the NATO framework. We also discussed the recent “government-to-government” agreement, which will boost trade, stimulate economic growth, and enable the implementation of a series of infrastructure projects. Our talks also covered NATO alliance cooperation and joint engagement within multilateral organisations,” Mucunski wrote on his official Facebook page.
