Skopje, 14 July 2025 (MIA) -- Since Monday morning, nine wildfires were reported across the country. Four of them were extinguished as of noon and five are still buring, the Crisis Management Center said.

According to the CMC, the bushfire in the village of Nikolikj near Dojran is still burning. Another bushfire is burning in the village of Gornjani in the Municipality of Chucher Sandevo. There is also a bushfire burning in the village of Otlja in the Municioality of Lipkovo.

A forest fire is burning near the villages of Dzhidimirci and Krushje in the Municipality of Veles. In the Municipality of Makedonski Brod, an oak fire is burning near the villages of Slatina, Creshnevo, Krapa and Lokvica.

Firefighters have put out the fires in the Three Black Locusts community on the outskirts of Prilep; near the village of Dragobrashta in the Municipality of Vinica; in the village of Vojshanci in the Municipality of Demir Kapija; and in the village of Frangovo in the Municipality of Struga. mr/
