Skopje, 28 August 2024 (MIA) - First Deputy PM and Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Izet Mexhiti, met with Albanian President Bajram Begaj in Tirana on Wednesday, discussing the comprehensive cooperation in all fields, while assessing bilateral ties as excellent and continually enlarging.

Interlocutors focused on projects of strategic interest for both countries, such as Corridor VIII, with Mexhiti pointing to infrastructure networking as a priority for the new Government, along with exchange of positive experiences in the field of foreign direct investments, tourism and free movement of citizens.

The Deputy PM added that European integration is a process that requires continued coordination and mutual commitment in meeting the strategic objectives, the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning said in a press release.
