First Deputy PM Grubi meets new Austrian Ambassador Martin Pammer

Skopje, 24 August 2023 (MIA) – First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Political System and Inter-Community Relations, Artan Grubi, held a meeting Thursday with the newly appointed Austrian Ambassador to North Macedonia, Martin Pammer, during which they spoke about the friendly bilateral relations.
“Grubi and Pammer voiced their conviction that the friendly relations between the two countries will continue to develop in the future,” said Grubi’s Office in a press release.
Grubi, said the press release, voiced gratitude for the support North Macedonia receives from Austria over the reform processes related to the Euro-integrations and the dynamic of the development of cooperation between the two countries in several fields.
Pammer and Grubi also spoke about the constitutional amendments process and the need to build social consensus over the Euro-integrations.
“Grubi underlined the need for the opposition’s support in the process of technical amendments to the Constitution and general agreement over the path to Brussels,” said the press release.
Grubi and Pammer also spoke about inter-ethnic relations and the implementation of Ohrid Framework Agreement as a prerequisite for social cohesion and equality between the communities in the country.
