Skopje, 29 October 2024 (MIA) -- On the sidelines of the EU-Western Balkans Ministerial Forum on Justice and Home Affairs taking place in Budva, Montenegro, on Oct. 28-29, Justice Minister Igor Filkov met Tuesday with Hungary's Minister of Justice Bence Tuzson.

"Our relations with Hungary are friendly, and the country is an important supporter in our EU accession process," Filkov wrote in a Facebook post.

In the post, the justice minister also said he had gladly accepted his Hungarian counterpart's invitation to attend the international conference titled "Legal Competitiveness – Instruments of Law for a More Competitive Europe," set to take place in Budapest on Nov. 11-12. mr/
