Skopje, 30 October 2021 (MIA) – The University Clinic for Neurosurgery has introduced a new method for treating brain hemorrhage, Health Minister Venko Filipche posted Saturday on Facebook. “We performed surgery using the new, innovative device – a dual volume system that allows us to monitor intracranial pressure and remove fluid from the brain at the same time,” read Filipche’s post. The system, he stressed, is already in use in the US, Germany, Portugal and the Netherlands. “North Macedonia is now the only country in Southeast Europe that uses this method,” said the Health Minister.
