Skopje, 2 October 2025 (MIA) - We are here to say enough to pollution, burning landfills, trash at streets. Enough of VMRO-DPMNE, it is a time for a change, SDSM leader Venko Filipche told a rally in Aerodrom late on Thursday.

Filipche said VMRO-DPMNE does not deserve to lead Aerodrom, which deserves to be run properly, befitting an urban and decent municipality.

"Our candidate knows what it takes, because he has been successful in everything he has done until now. I don't know why the incumbent mayor is running for the office when he has done nothing," said Filipche.

According to him, wages in the country have been dropping for three consecutive months, liquidity of businesses has been disrupted.

"Mickoski is accusing us of having a dark campaign but we are only telling the dark truth about VMRO-DPMNE's policies. Let's put an end to the destructive policies and the country's decay. Let's take responsibility and fight for our home together, so that our children continue to live in it," underlined Filipche.

Mayor candidate Aleksandar Trajanovski said he intends to solve the traffic chaos, build new bicycle tracks, parking lots and car parks, implement smart lighting, with youth and culture in the focus.

"Aerodrom wants a change. Aerodrom cannot turn into another landfill, we deserve a clean, green municipality for a decent life," said Trajanovski.

His programme also includes a fund for the youth and building a culture center with a cinema, theatre and exhibition space.
