Skopje, 19 February 2025 (MIA) – Minister of European Affairs Orhan Murtezani and European Policy Institute (EPI) Director Simonida Kacarska signed Wednesday in Skopje a cooperation memorandum, which makes official the joint commitment of the Ministry of European Affairs and EPI to successfully implementing the WB Reform and Growth Monitor project.
The EU-funded project aims at allowing civil society organizations in the region to actively contribute to designing and faithfully implementing reforms related to the four pillars of the European Commission’s Growth Plan for the Western Balkans, said the Ministry of European Affairs.
This cooperation enables the Ministry and EPI to work together on monitoring and analysing the implementation of the 2024-2027 Reform Agenda so as to provide enhanced participation in reforms processes, encourage transparency and increase the impact of civil society organizations in policy creation.
“This partnership is considered a key step in building an inclusive and efficient mechanism to monitor reforms that are of crucial importance for the economic and social development of North Macedonia and the region,” said the press release.
