EU-North Macedonia Joint Parliamentary Committee to hold meeting in Parliament
- The 23rd meeting of the EU-North Macedonia Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) will take place in the Parliament on February 27-28.

Skopje, 27 February 2025 (MIA) - The 23rd meeting of the EU-North Macedonia Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) will take place in the Parliament on February 27-28.
JPC co-chairs, MP Ivanka Vasilevska and Member of European Parliament (MEP) Karlo Ressler, will open the meeting on Thursday, followed by an exchange of opinions with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski and Minister of European Affairs Orhan Murtezani, the Parliament said in a press release.
The session will also include remarks by Polish Ambassador Mariusz Brimora representing the Polish EU Presidency, and EU Ambassador Michalis Rokas as representative of the European Commission and the European External Action Service.
European Parliament officials will also meet separately with whips of parliamentary parties.
On Friday, JPC members are scheduled to meet with Speaker Afrim Gashi and hold the second session, reads the press release.
The JPC, set up in 2004, is a forum for exchange of experiences and positions towards strengthening mutual partnership and the commitment for the country's European future. The committee meets twice a year – in the Parliament of North Macedonia and in the European Parliament.
