Brussels, 16 March 2025 (MIA) - The European Union’s Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, expressed deep sadness in a social media post Sunday over last night’s fire at a nightclub in Kochani which claimed 51 lives and left over 100 people injured.

“Deeply saddened by the tragic fire in Kočani North Macedonia, which claimed lives of too many young people. My thoughts are with the victims, their loved ones and the whole of North Macedonia during this terrible tragedy,” Kos wrote in a post on X.
